Intuitive Amulet Objects is scheduled for November 22, 2025 from 1-4pm. Class size is limited to 8 participants. Our studio is located in between Logan Square & Hermosa in Chicago, near Armitage & Springfield. Exact directions will be sent in a follow up email :)
In this workshop, we will be working together to make 6-8 objects that are meant to be hung from your most precious of objects, whether they be christmas trees, or from a shelf high up, or to keep a watchful eye over your altar. We’re gonna lean into our intuition to sketch out random shapes, or perhaps our own interpretations of shapes found in our everyday (think a bulb of garlic, a platform shoe, a tooth, the moon, etc). In this class, we are going to prioritize our intuition over perfection and make the objects that call to us, using a variety of sculpting methods and tools.
Within four weeks, your ornaments will get glazed & fired & adorned with gold details, and will be ready to pick up in Logan Square.
You are welcome to bring booze as this event is BYOB! Previous clay experience is not necessary for this class. Currently our classes are open to ages 21+. A note on accessibility: the studio is, unfortunately, not fully ADA accessible at this time, though an elevator is available for use after traversing a long hallway.
