When I first started my ceramics journey, I started making jugs. No special kind of jug in particular, but I would sketch for hours these random shapes that felt both ancient and some how right on time. Anyway fast forward to 2022, i’m in the museum of cycladic art stnv athina and found jugs almost identical to mine, from the region my yiayia was born in, bulbous with a spout & a connected handle. HELL YAAA!!!!!
so i refined the vision a little bit and made you three sizes - 18 oz, 8 oz, and 4oz. My vision is for a specil wine or oil to live in there, but in truth i don’t care what you do with it, so long as it enriches the energy of your space.
